Tollywood’s Sreeja Dutta in Dhaka’s web film

Recently, several new generation Tollywood actresses have started their journey in Dhaka showbiz.

Jyotirmoyee Kundu and Susmita Chatterjee made their debut in Dhallywood on Eid-ul-Fitr this year.

This time, another actress from West Bengal, Sreeja Dutta, awaiting to debut.

She has not acted on the big screen, but on OTT. She will be seen in the web film titled ‘Tajmahal’ on the OTT platform Bongo on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha.

Sreeja Dutta made her Tollywood debut in 2023. She acted opposite Dev in the movie ‘Bagha Jatin’.

After that, she was also seen in movie ‘Tekka’ starring Dev. Sreeja played the central role in Hoichoi’s series ‘Nishir Daak’.

Now she is going to make her name in the showbiz industry of Bangladesh.
Sreeja played the role of Mumtaz in the web film ‘Tajmahal’.

Opposite her is newcomer Foyjul Yamin in the role of Taj. Yamin’s career started as a model about a decade and a half ago.

However, she was out of the country for a long time for studies.

After returning home last year, her acting career started with the story drama ‘Close-up Kachhe Ashar Golpo’.

Yamin made her big screen debut with Raihan Rafi’s ‘Pressure Cooker’ on Eid-ul-Fitr.

‘Tajmahal’ is based on the story of the Sylhet border area. Directed by Wahid Anam, it also stars A K M Hasan, Maliha Medha and others. The web film will be shown on Bongo from Eid day.

Director Wahid Anam said about the web film, “The audience will be able to watch a very simple story, not complicated. It can be said that it is a pure romantic story.

Where there is no violence, hatred, fights, or arguments; but there is love.

Be it between father and son or between lover and lover. Along with romantic moments, there is a lot of comedy.

And there are many turning points. The audience will be able to easily connect with the story.”
