DJ Sonica infected with Hepatitis A virus

Popular DJ and singer Sonica has been infected with the Hepatitis ‘A’ virus.

She is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the capital after contracting the Hepatitis ‘A’ virus.

Sonica herself shared the news of her illness with her fans on social media on Monday night.

She posted a picture of herself lying in a hospital bed and wrote in the caption, “This is my home for the next few days.”

Sonica, one of the country’s leading female DJs, began her journey in the music world as a professional DJ in 2007.

She also brought fame to the country on the international stage by performing at grand opening ceremony of the ICC Cricket World Cup held in Bangladesh in 2011.
