Karnali to host first-ever tourism conference, focus on NRN investment & international cooperation in Nepal
Karnali Province, Nepal, is set to host its first-ever tourism conference. The event will be organized jointly by the Nepal Tourism Board and Birendranagar Municipality, in coordination with the Hotel Entrepreneurs Federation Karnali Province, and will be held in Birendranagar from Jestha 8 to 10.
The main objective of the conference is to highlight the potential of tourism development, promotion, investment attraction, and sustainable tourism growth in Karnali Province, Nepal, at both national and international levels.
The conference will bring together tourism entrepreneurs, investors, media representatives, travel vloggers, and experts from various provinces of Nepal as well as from India, including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Delhi. Significant participation is also expected from the Non-Resident Nepali (NRN) community, who are anticipated to play an important role in opening new avenues for investment and collaboration in Karnali Province, Nepal.
The event will include B2B meetings, networking sessions, tourism destination presentations, visits to local heritage sites, and technical discussions aimed at strengthening tourism development strategies.

Karnali Province is widely recognized for its natural beauty, cultural diversity, religious heritage, and adventure tourism potential. Destinations such as Rara Lake, Shey-Phoksundo, and the Sinja Valley hold strong potential to attract international tourists. Organizers and stakeholders believe that by connecting these opportunities with global markets, Karnali can be established as a new and emerging tourism and investment destination in Nepal.
