Champa seeks prayers for bedridden Kanchan

Noted Dhallywood actor and leader of Nirapad Sarak Chai (NISCHA), Ilias Kanchan, is currently in London for advanced treatment after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Noted film actress Gulshan Ara Akhter Champa is unable to accept the news of her beloved colleague’s illness.

Recently, at an awards ceremony, Champa became emotional while speaking to reporters about Kanchan’s physical condition.

Expressing her feelings, Champa said, “This is really very sad

. I never thought that I would have to hear this bad news about Kanchan Bhai so soon. This is unacceptable.”

In her words, “Kanchan Bhai has had many major accidents at work.

Once, during a shoot, he fell from a very high mountain. But he fought back from there too.

He was a guide for all of us. Kanchan Bhai used to practice religion regularly.

Whenever he met me, he would tell me to pray, you should pray this, you should pray that.

There is a lot to learn from him. It is unthinkable that that man would be bedridden like this. I prayed a lot to Allah.”
