Country’s 1st micro drama series ‘Silver Sadia’ to release May 14

Bangladesh’s first micro-drama series titled ‘Silver Sadia’ is being released on Cinemawala’s Facebook page on May 14. A vertical screening of the series was held at a city club on Saturday.
The series’ actors, directors, producers and invited guests were present.
The trailer of the series was also released on the occasion.
The series is directed by Miraj Hossain. Sadia Ayman, Allen Shuvro, Farzana Chhobi, Kamruzzaman Topu and others are in the cast.
In addition, content creator Rafsan the younger brother is in a special role. Each episode of this 15-episode series is three minutes long.
Director Miraj Hossain said, “This new attempt at short-form storytelling is a bold and timely step in the entertainment world of Bangladesh, in line with the current audience habits.”
The story of ‘Silver Sadia’ follows the life of a young madrasa student from a lower-middle-class family, who secretly developed a deep love for gaming.
With the silent support of her mother, she starts live-streaming on YouTube and gradually builds her own audience.
But when that secret truth is revealed to her father, disaster strikes.
The story of family, relationship tensions, and finding one’s own identity intertwines.
Sadia Ayman, the lead actress who plays the role of ‘Sadia’, said, “This is undoubtedly a great initiative.
It’s a new experience to tell a beautiful story in small episodes. It feels great to be able to act in such a series.”
The series is produced by ‘Mayer Doa Studios’. It is a 360° full-service content-driven project of Adcom Limited.
The series is dedicated to Glow and Lovely.
