Bapparaj to contest in Artistes’ Assoc polls

Actor Bapparaj is running for the post of president from a panel in the upcoming biennial election of Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association.

Bapparaj said, “I wanted to visit the grave of my father (Nayakraj Razzak) and bring the good news. It has already been in media.

In one way, it has been good because, after the news of his candidacy for the post of president, many artistes called and texted to wish him well.

The artistes want me to take over the reins of the Artistes’ Association.

I have decided to participate in the elections this time out of a sense of responsibility, giving importance to the wishes of the artistes.”
