341 cops, RAB to get ‘Good Service Badge’

A total of 341 officers and members of the police and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) will be awarded the “Police Force Exemplary Good Service Badge” in recognition of their outstanding and commendable service.

The award, considered the second-highest honour in the police force, will be conferred during the upcoming Police Week.

The information was disclosed on Thursday in a notice signed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ali Hossain Fakir.

According to the notice, the recipients have been selected for their praiseworthy and exemplary work between March 1, 2025, and February 28 of the current year.

The badges and certificates will be formally presented by the IGP during Police Week, scheduled to be held from May 10 to May 13 at the Parade Ground of Rajarbagh Police Lines.
