CEMS-Global int’l expos begin at ICCB
A series of international exhibitions on food, agriculture, poultry, livestock, medical technology and health tourism began on Thursday at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Kuril, Dhaka.
Organised by CEMS-Global USA in association with CEMS Bangladesh, the three-day exhibitions will continue until 9 May and remain open to visitors from 10am to 7pm every day, according to a press release.
The concurrent events include the 9th Food Bangladesh International Expo 2026, 6th Food Pack Expo 2026, 9th Agro Bangladesh International Expo 2026, 9th Poultry and Livestock Bangladesh International Expo 2026, 17th Meditex Bangladesh 2026 International Expo, 10th Bangladesh Clinical Lab Expo 2026, 12th Pharma Bangladesh 2026 International Expo, and 9th International Health Tourism and Services Expo Bangladesh 2026.
The inauguration ceremony was held at Hall 4 of ICCB, presided over by CEMS-Global USA and Asia Pacific President and Group Managing Director Meherun N Islam.
Among the guests of honour were Industries Ministry Additional Secretary Md Firoz Uddin, Department of Agricultural Extension Director Dr Salma Laizoo, Health and Family Welfare Ministry Joint Secretary Md Mohsin.
Commerce Ministry Joint Secretary Mst Nargis Murshida, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority Director General Gazi AKM Fazlul Haque, and American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh Executive Committee Member Mirza Shajib Raihan.
Organisers said the exhibitions aim to serve as a “one-stop platform” connecting manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and buyers across multiple sectors, while promoting technological innovation, knowledge exchange and international trade.
The food, agro, poultry and food packaging exhibitions feature more than 100 companies from over 15 countries, including Bangladesh, India, China, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Vietnam, Brazil, Thailand, Switzerland, Japan, Malaysia and the UAE, with over 160 booths.
