Rashed Ahmed Chowdhury, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mutual Trust Bank PLC and Sharif Zahir, Chairman of the Board of Directors of United Commercial Bank PLC have been elected as Vice-Chairmen of Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) for the remaining period of current term i.e. up to 31 December, 2026 in its 230th Executive Committee meeting held on Tuesday. Abdul Hai Sarker, Chairman, BAB & Chairman, Board of Directors of Dhaka Bank PLC presided over the meeting.
