Moushumi Hamid spotlights reel culture during on-set rain delay
Popular actress of the small screen, Moushumi Hamid turned a sudden rain break on set into a light-hearted social media moment while filming an Eid tele-fiction in Gazipur’s Pubail area.
The shoot for ‘Love Station’, written by Brindaban Das and featuring Chanchal Chowdhury and others, was halted when heavy rain disrupted production.
With cameras down and lights switched off, members of the unit remained on location, many of them passing time by recording reels or going live on social media.
Moushumi joined in with a live broadcast from her verified Facebook account, showing the rain-soaked set and the cast and crew waiting out the delay.
In a playful mood, she joked that she would “reveal everyone’s masks”, pointing out how different members of the team were spending the downtime.
She also highlighted the growing presence of social media on set, noting how many were busy creating content despite the halted shoot, while the director and crew waited for conditions to improve.
During the live session, she also mentioned receiving unexpected Facebook earnings of $175, adding humour to the situation and joking about treating the team if she withdrew the money.
