107 police members to receive medals this time
Police Week will begin on 10 May. On the opening day of this four-day event, Bangladesh Police Medal (BPM) and President’s Police Medal (PPM) will be awarded at the Police Lines field in Rajarbagh of the capital.
This time, 107 members have been nominated for medals. Apart from police, multiple Army and Air Force officers serving in RAB are also receiving medals. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to pin the medals on the nominees.
Before Police Week begins, those nominated for medals have been asked to be present at Rajarbagh Police Lines Parade Ground on Saturday. The letter was signed on Thursday, 30 April by DIG (Confidential) of Police Headquarters Md. Kamrul Ahsan.
