Indie Fest concert in city on 8 May
A much-anticipated tri-nation concert titled “Indie Fest,” featuring artists from Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan, is set to take place in the capital.
Although the event could not be held on its previously scheduled date due to administrative complications, the organisers have now announced a new date.
According to the organisers, the concert will be held on May 8 at the Courtside venue on 100 Feet Madani Avenue in Dhaka.
They stated that after receiving the necessary permissions, the decision was finalised to organise the event in the second week of May.
The concert will take place at the originally designated venue.
The lineup includes popular Pakistani singer Abdul Hannan along with his band Bayaan.
From India, the band Talpatar Sepai will perform, while Bangladesh will be represented by the band Level Five.
Organisers have informed that the gates will open for the audience at 3 PM, and the main event will begin at 6 PM.
Tickets are currently being sold through the online platform TikiFi.
However, the organisers mentioned that although ticket sales had started earlier, they were temporarily suspended due to last-minute administrative issues.
Previously, there were plans to organise several concerts during the winter season featuring artists such as Jal, Kaavish, Atif Aslam, Ali Azmat from Pakistan, and Anuv Jain from India.
However, several of these events were canceled due to security concerns.
