Tanzika Amin said that her first love began in Rajshahi, when she was a ninth-grade student.
She was in a relationship with a young man named ‘Amit’ for four years.
Recalling those days, the actress said that in that era of landlines, their love consisted of talking for hours and writing long letters.
Talking about past affairs, she said, “Back then, we used to pay tutors for our studies from home.
But we would save that money and give each other gifts.
We would even be happy to go to a restaurant and have a Coke and French fries for just Tk 20 taka.”
Tanzika had to pay a large bill for talking on the phone too much, and was beaten up a lot by her mother for that.
The memories of skipping school and coaching and going to the banks of the River Padma still haunt her.
