Babita to get Lifetime Award in USA

Veteran actress Babita is set to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Anandamela Awards 2026, scheduled to be held on July 25 and 26 in Los Angeles, United States.

Organised annually since 2017 by US-based charity organisation Anandamela, this year’s event will take place near the iconic Hollywood Sign.

The award will be presented to Babita on July 26 by the Consul General of Bangladesh in Los Angeles.

August 5 has been observed as ‘Babita Day’ in North Texas since 2023.
