Bubly’s film ‘Flashback’ to be released in Bangladesh, West Bengal

Dhallywood actress Shobnom Bubly made her name in Tollywood movie two years ago with ‘Flashback’. The film is being directed by Bangladeshi director Rashed Raha.

Although the shooting was completed in 2024, there was no news of release of the movie. Finally, director said that the film will be released after the results of the West Bengal assembly elections are to be announced in May.

Rashed Raha said that discussions are underway to release ‘Flashback’ in West Bengal and Bangladesh as well.

Director Rashed Raha said, “The release of the movie ‘Flashback’ was delayed due to various reasons. However, the movie is now completely ready for release. Soon the audience will be able to watch the movie in theatres. We are planning to release it there after the results of the West Bengal’s assembly elections are to be announced on May 4.

The official release date will be announced after discussions with the production company. After that, the release process in Bangladesh will begin.”

Actress Bubly is joined by West Bengal’s director-actor Kaushik Ganguly and actor Saurav Das in ‘Flashback’. The thriller movie’s screenplay is written by Khairul Basar Nirjhar.

The teaser of the movie was released two years ago.

The character played by Bubly in ‘Flashback’ is ‘Shweta’. Kaushik Ganguly and Saurav will be seen in the roles of Anjan and DK respectively. Popular actor Anjan has been away from the stage for a long time. DK’s life as a vagabond flows in the current of society.

On the other hand, there is filmmaker Shweta. In the writing of fate, three characters from different walks of life meet.

The story of ‘Flashback’ will tell which way the lives of the three characters in a hill town will turn. The movie is being jointly produced by Narayan Chatterjee and Kazi Zafrin Moon.
