Abul Hayat’s Eid drama adapted from Rabeya Khatun’s story
Veteran actor Abul Hayat is set to direct a new television drama titled ‘Bhalobeshechhilam’, based on a story by renowned writer Rabeya Khatun. Shooting for the project is scheduled to begin on May 1.
Earlier, during Eid-ul-Fitr, Hayat directed the drama ‘Sokhina’, also adapted from Rabeya Khatun’s work.
Continuing the collaboration, he has once again chosen one of her stories for his upcoming Eid-ul-Azha production.
In addition to directing, Abul Hayat will also act in the drama, alongside Dolly Zahur, Rawnak Hasan, and Zakia Bari Mamo.
Regarding talking about the Eid-ul-Azha’s production, Abul Hayat said that Channel i Managing Director Faridur Reza Sagor had long expressed a wish for him to adapt at least one of Rabeya Khatun’s stories for every Eid.
“It is something I personally enjoy as well,” he said, adding that the screenplay has already been completed.
Meanwhile, Abul Hayat remains busy with acting projects.
He has recently begun shooting a drama directed by Vicky Zahed and is set to start work on Mir Arman Hossain’s ‘Bhul Namer Phool’ on April 29, before commencing his own directorial project.
