‘I was uncomfortable’, Kajol says about kissing scene

One of Bollywood’s most popular actresses, Kajol has been following an unwritten rule for her career of almost three decades – not to act in kissing scenes on screen.

But with time, the demands of the story change, and the depth of the character also increases.

From that point on, she finally broke her long-standing ‘no kissing policy’ for the web series ‘The Trial: Pair, Kanun, Dhokka’.

Recently, in a podcast, Kajol herself revealed the story behind this decision.

In her words, the matter was not easy at all. Rather, she was feeling uneasy inside until the shooting.

She said, “I was feeling very uncomfortable. Until I was standing on the set, I couldn’t understand whether I would really do this scene or not.”
