Hafezzi Humanitarian Award 2026: 56 Individuals and Organizations Honored for Their Contributions to Humanity
On Saturday, 25 April 2026, the prestigious Hafezzi Humanitarian Award 2026 was held at the historic Sena Malancha in the capital Dhaka, organized by Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh (HCSB). A total of 56 recipients — 48 individuals and 8 organizations — were honored in recognition of their outstanding contributions to humanitarian service.
The Chief Guest of the evening was A.Z.M. Zahid Hossain, Member of Parliament and Minister of Social Welfare of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, who formally presented the awards to the recipients.
Distinguished international guests joined the ceremony, including Dr. Ahmed Zayed Mabrouk, Chairman of the Department of Islamic Studies at Al-Azhar University; Dr. Mohammad Mamdouh, Chairman of the Egyptian Youth Council; Dr. Sheikh Ihsan Senocak Afandi, Founder of IFAM; and Dr. Nawaf Hael Takruri, Chairman of the Palestine Scholars Association. Prominent national figures including Allama Mamunul Haque, Allama Abdul Hamid, Said Uddin Ahmed Hanjala, Sarjis Alam, and Mufti Rezaul Karim Abrar also addressed the gathering.

Awards were presented across seven categories: Humanitarian Organization Management, Islamic Outreach, Humanitarian Journalism, Digital Humanitarian Content Creation, Humanitarian Education, Healthcare and Nursing, and Humanitarian Personality.
The ceremony was presided over by Mawlana Mahfuzul Haque, President of HCSB. The program was conducted by Senior Vice President Professor Amirul Islam and Director General Muhammad Raj, with moderation by Mawlana Kamrul Islam.
It is worth mentioning that HCSB (Reg. No. S-13879/2022) has been actively serving vulnerable communities both at home and abroad. Its large-scale humanitarian operations — including the distribution of flour to over 10,000 families in Gaza — along with ongoing relief efforts in Palestine and Sudan have been covered by Al Jazeera, Palestine TV, Egypt Times, and leading national newspapers of Bangladesh.
