Not everyone needs to do everything Aisha Khan
Although she has worked across dramas, web series, and films, she has never wanted to compete in terms of quantity. Instead, she has always aimed to take on new and diverse roles.
She said, “At this moment, I feel that not everyone needs to do everything. Perhaps I am still not fully prepared for the big screen.
The work I have done may not have met everyone’s expectations, and I acknowledge that I also had some limitations.”
Aisha considers her lack of a theatre background as a challenge in her learning journey.
In her words, “I did not come from a theatre background, so there is a lot for me to learn.
If I had already known many things, perhaps this hesitation would not exist. But now, this learning process itself is helping me move forward.”
Her recent film Shekor has received praise both locally and internationally.
Her performance, especially in the role of “Falguni,” has been appreciated by both audiences and critics.
Aisha said, “After ‘Shekor,’ I do not have any immediate plans to take on new work.
I am still learning every day, making mistakes, and growing from them. I want to return to the screen as a more mature actress.”
She is also optimistic about the recent wave in Bangla cinema. She sees the success of Poran and Hawa as major turning points for the industry.
In this context, she is also pleased with the success of Bonolota Express, which is currently gaining attention. Aisha said, “It is the work of one of my favorite directors.
