Only ‘Chokro 2’ was in discussion beyond films this Eid: Tawsif

Recently released on an OTT platform, the series “Chokro 2” has gained attention.

Directed by Vicky Zahed, Tawsif Mahbub received praise for his performance as Dr. Humayun in the series.

Speaking about the audience response to “Chokro 2”, Tawsif said that every post, review, discussion, and even criticism from viewers has been deeply absorbed in his heart, as this project is the result of his long-time dedication.

He expressed that he never imagined his hard work would be appreciated in this way and thanked the Almighty for it.

He further added that the response to the series exceeded his expectations. According to the platform’s scale, it received far more attention than anticipated.

He believes that if any content was discussed alongside films this Eid, it was “Chokro 2.” As a web series, it has become a major achievement for him.

He described it as a different kind of work in terms of genre and scale and expressed sincere gratitude to the audience for accepting both the project and his performance.

When asked why he took so long to enter OTT platforms, the popular actor replied that he prefers working with time and patience.

In his view, nothing comes properly unless it arrives at the right time. He called it both bad luck and good luck.
