2 killed as bus loses control in Dhaka

Two people were killed in a road accident in the Banani area of the capital on Thursday (April 23). The identities of the deceased could not be immediately confirmed.

The accident occurred at around 3:30 PM near the Setu Bhaban area in Banani.

According to AKM Mainuddin, Inspector (Operations) of Banani Police Station, a bus belonging to Bhuiya Transport lost control and crashed into a road divider (island), killing two people on the spot.
