Pubali Bank inaugurates 1,000th ATM-CRM booth at DU

Pubali Bank PLC inaugurates its 1000th ATM/CRM booth at the Registrar Building of the University of Dhaka on Tuesday, continuing its focus on technology-driven banking services.
The newly installed booth will enable customers to access a range of automated banking services, including cash withdrawal and cash deposit, offering a more modern, convenient, and time-efficient banking experience.
The booth was formally inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, Professor Dr A B M Obaidul Islam, as the chief guest. Managing Director and CEO of Pubali Bank PLC, Mohammad Ali, attended the event as the guest of honour.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of the University of Dhaka, Professor Dr Sayema Haque Bidisha, was present as a special guest.
The event was presided over by the Treasurer of the University of Dhaka, Professor M Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, PhD. Among others present at the event were the Estate Manager of the University of Dhaka, Fatema Binte Mustafa; General Manager and Head of Card Operation Division of Pubali Bank PLC, Ashim Kumar Roy; General Manager and Regional Head of Dhaka Central Region, Abu Laich Md Samsujjaman; and Deputy General Manager of Shahbag Avenue Branch, Masuma Khatun.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dr A B M Obaidul Islam said the expansion of digital banking services is an essential requirement of the present time.
He said the initiative of Pubali Bank PLC would facilitate students, teachers, and all stakeholders of the university community by ensuring easy, fast, and secure financial services and would play an important role in promoting digital transactions.
Mohammad Ali said Pubali Bank PLC remains committed to delivering customer-centric and technology-driven banking services.
He said the establishment of the bank’s 1000th ATM/CRM booth at the University of Dhaka marked a significant milestone in its ongoing digital transformation journey.
He added that Pubali Bank PLC would continue to expand its technology-based services, promote financial inclusion, and contribute to building a cashless economy in the future.
