Actress Nadia Fares dies

The untimely death of Moroccan-French actress Nadia Fares, known for the world-famous film ‘The Crimson Rivers,’ had cast

a shadow of grief over the entertainment industry. The talented artiste breathed her last at the age of 57 while undergoing treatment last Friday. According to Variety, Nadia was found unconscious in a swimming pool in Paris last week and has been in a coma since then.

Her two daughters, Celia and Shana Chasman, confirmed in a statement that their mother died of a heart attack.

Nadia made her big screen debut in 1992 with the film ‘My Wife’s Girlfriends’. However, she gained international stardom with her performance in police thriller
‘The Crimson Rivers’ released in 2000.
