Nusrat Jahan summoned over wheat smuggling allegations
Tollywood actress Nusrat Jahan has been summoned by India’s central investigative agency, Enforcement Directorate (ED), in the ration corruption case again.
The first phase of elections in West Bengal is on April 23. Before that, the ED has ordered the heroine to appear at the CGO Complex on the 22nd. According to ED, Nusrat’s name has surfaced in the ration corruption case based on a special source.
A few years ago, when allegations of wheat smuggling were raised in Bangladesh, Nusrat was the MP of Trinamool Congress from Basirhat. The actress has been ordered to appear at the ED office on Wednesday.
