Director Raz makes me ‘Nat’l Aunt’ by this serial: Deepa

The popular drama serial ‘Eta Amaderi Golpo’ directed by Mostafa Kamal Raz is currently at the peak of discussion on social media and YouTube.

Viewers are eagerly waiting for each episode of this drama, which is aired on the Cinemawala YouTube channel.

Recently, at a press conference, senior actress Deepa Khandakar spoke about the skyrocketing popularity of the drama and her character on screen.

Deepa is receiving a lot of praise for playing the role of ‘Fatema’, an aunt, in the drama.

Talking about the audience’s anticipation and love, she said, “When you came, I said that people want to watch family stories or wait for family stories.

You can tell me how much they wait much better than me now. In the last 20 to 25 years in the history of Bangladesh, in my career of about 26 to 27 years, I have not seen people waiting for any episode of any drama.

And at one time, we have to hear so much that why is it not coming, why is it not coming! I mean, it is actually a reflection of the love within people that they are not filling their hearts with so little.

They think that if they can watch it every day, they will like it.” Deepa, who is overjoyed by the drama’s incredible success, gave credit to the director Raz.

Expressing her gratitude, the actress said, “We didn’t realise that it would touch people’s hearts on such a large scale.

We started thinking that we were trying to do something for people to like. We didn’t expect that it would be liked so much.

For this, I would say that Raz’s biggest credit is first and foremost. Raz has thought of this and I’m very grateful to our audience for giving us this place.”

Deepa said that the character she played on screen has filled a special void in real life as well.

Highlighting a regret from her personal life, she said, “I really like it. I don’t know if I will ever reach this place again or if I will be able to move you in this way. I get comments like this all the time.”

“My Facebook is filled with all the comments. I get comments like this that it seems like such an aunt lives in every home and in everyone’s life.

So today, let me tell you something that since I don’t have a brother, I can never be an aunt in my life.

That aunt Raz has made me a ‘national aunt’. I mean, it’s actually a very, very big deal,” she added.
