On the first day of the Bengali New Year, like every year, the country’s people celebrated Pahela Boishakh with joy and enthusiasm.
Celebrities were not left out. Showbiz stars have posted pictures of the Bengali New Year celebrations on Facebook.
Actress Bidya Sinha Mim has shared several photos of herself in a photoshoot in Boishakhi attire on social media to wish the Bengali New Year.
In the photo, Mim is seen wearing a light pink saree and a dark-colored blouse.
She wrote in the caption, “Happy New Year, new year, new dream, new beginning.” She added a love emoji.
Actress Azmeri Haque Badhon posted a picture taken with her daughter Sayera on Facebook on the morning of Pahela Boishakh, and wrote, “Happy New Year.”
Meanwhile, actress Tasnia Farin shared a series of pictures wearing a saree on Facebook and wrote, “Happy Boishakhi.”
Two small screen actors, Tawsif Mahbub and Orchita Sporshia, are busy shooting for a drama on the first day of the Bengali New Year.
Sharing a picture of the two from the shooting set, Tawsif wrote on Facebook, “Wishing you a Happy New Year from the shooting set.”
Actresses Tasnia Farin, Safa Kabir, actor Arifin Shuvoo and many others have wished the New Year by sharing multiple photos of themselves in Boishakhi attire.
Popular actress Jaya Ahsan shared a video highlighting the traditions of the New Year.
In the caption of the video, she wrote, “The last night of Chaitra, the story of Alpana and new beginnings; an inseparable tradition of our first Boishakh.
An essential tradition every year. Happy Bengali New Year to everyone, Happy New Year.”
Meanwhile, actress Mehazabien Chowdhury has painted herself in the colours of the festival.
In a photograph shared on social media, she is seen in a soft red and white saree.
Posing against the backdrop of colorful kites, Mehazabien wrote, “My Boishakh.” She was wearing a red and white tie-dyed elegant saree.
To complete the look, she chose silver jewellery and a garland of Mallika flowers. Her look, with open hair and sweet smile, is already receiving praise on social media.
Dhallywood queen Apu Biswas is not far behind. The actress has adorned herself in a splendid outfit on the morning of the New Year.
The blue and red geometric designs on the white saree seem to evoke a wonderful combination of spring and Boishakh.
Wishing her fans, Apu wrote, “Every day is colourful with the touch of new colours.
I extend my heartfelt wishes to everyone on the occasion of Bengali New Year 1433. Happy New Year.”
