Dighi’s ‘Biday’ awaits release

Popular model and actress Prarthana Fardin Dighi began her career as a child artist and is now established as a leading actress. She has been working regularly in films, web films, and music videos.

Her most recently released film, Jongli, was released during Eid last year. After that, she started working on a new film titled Biday.

The film was originally planned for release during this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr. However, due to incomplete shooting, it could not be released on schedule.

Directed by Mehedi Hasan Hridoy, the film had generated discussion from the very beginning. Shooting began in Sunamganj in October last year, but the director could not finish it on time.

During the same period, he was also busy working on another film, Rakkhosh, which was released on Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to sources, the remaining shooting of Biday will begin soon. Some important scenes, along with a song sequence, will be filmed in Malaysia.

If everything goes as planned, the film is almost certain to be released during the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha.

Speaking about the film, Dighi said, “Biday is a story that is not just meant to be watched, but remembered. It has a beautiful blend of emotion and reality.

The audience will find reflections of their own lives in it. I believe the story will stay with them even after the film ends. I am optimistic about it.”
