In 2011, she tied the knot with Australian hotelier Peter Haag out of love. However, that 15-year marriage was just a long nightmare.
The actress, who was subjected to physical and mental abuse at the hands of her husband, has finally filed for divorce.
She has demanded a compensation of 50 crores. The actress claims that Peter’s true nature came out soon after the marriage. He used to constantly pressure her for dowry.
He used to demand expensive jewellery and money on the pretext of Indian customs.
