BNP-backed panel sweeps Khulna Bar polls

The BNP-backed Jatiyatabadi Ainjeebi Forum panel secured a landslide victory in the Khulna District Bar Association election held on Sunday, winning all 14 contested posts, including the key positions of president and general secretary.

Polling took place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with results officially declared later in the evening. Out of 1,202 registered voters, 1,056 cast their ballots, reflecting strong participation from the legal community.

Molla Mohammad Masum Rashid was elected president, while Molla Moshiur Rahman Nannu won the post of general secretary. Other elected candidates include Mohsin Chowdhury and Mosharraf Hossain as vice presidents.
