BCB President Bulbul returns home

President of Bangladesh Cricket Board Aminul Islam Bulbul returned home after speculation and joined BCB activities. Although the controversy surrounding his absence has ended, many challenges await him ahead.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam Bulbul has finally returned home after ending long-standing speculation. He arrived in Dhaka on a Singapore Airlines flight at midnight on Saturday.

Multiple BCB sources and directors have confirmed the matter to the media. It is even learned that the former captain of Bangladesh Cricket Board worked at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur on Sunday.

The BCB president went to Australia on February 16 to celebrate Ramadan and Eid. He flew to his family in a rather private manner. Which sparked a lot of discussion.

Since his family has been living there for a long time, he has spent time outside the country several times since taking office. However, the situation surrounding this visit was different.

Amid the recent political changes in the country and the controversy over the BCB elections, there has been a lot of buzz about his foreign trip. Many people thought he may not return to the country at all.

Amidst these rumors, the BCB had informed that Bulbul would return to the country by March 26 or 27. But doubts have intensified as the scheduled time was passed.

Although his return to the country two days after the scheduled time has finally put an end to all the speculations, a difficult reality awaits ahead. The BCB boss will have to face many things.

After returning to the country, he appeared at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium on the Sunday afternoon.

Then he attended the Bangladesh Cricket squad’s fitness camp with the board directors.

He personally watched the cricketers’ practice. He spoke to Head Coach Phil Simmons.

Apart from this, Bulbul was also seen talking to the cricketers.

Meanwhile, the cricketers are spending time in fitness practice with the New Zealand series ahead.

They are practicing regularly at the ‘Home of Cricket’. The cricketers will then begin the skill camp.
