Bangladesh Embassy holds Nat’l Day in China

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Beijing celebrated the Great Independence and National Day of Bangladesh on March 26, 2026, with immense enthusiasm and inspiration.

The day began with a national flag hoisting on the embassy premises, attended by Ambassador Md Nazmul Islam, diplomatic staff, and employees of the mission, followed by recitation from the Holy Quran and the reading of messages from the president, prime minister, foreign minister, and state minister for foreign affairs of Bangladesh, reports media.

In his address, Ambassador Nazmul Islam paid deep tribute to Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, the proclamator of Bangladesh’s independence, as well as to the hundreds of thousands of martyrs and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives during the Liberation War, while calling on all to work together to build a prosperous and dignified nation.
