BNP reschedules Independence Day discussion to Friday
BNP has moved its scheduled discussion meeting in observance of Independence and National Day to Friday.
The programme, which was initially set for March 25, is now slated to begin at 2:30pm at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) in Ramna. The update was confirmed on Tuesday in a press release signed by the party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, reports media.
BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will attend the event as the chief guest. The meeting is to be presided over by Party Secretary General and Local Government Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
Previously, during a press conference held at Nayapaltan, Rizvi had announced that the discussion would take place on March 25 at the same location and time.
