March 26: Parade, Flypast back after 12 years

A ceremonial parade and flypast will be held at the National Parade Square in Dhaka at 9:00am on March 26, marking the Great Independence and National Day.

The event is taking place after a 12-year gap, making this year’s celebration particularly significant.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman are expected to attend the programme.

The event will be open to the public, with designated entry gates for spectators at numbers 2, 3, 4, 10, and 11. Authorities have arranged for heightened security and proper crowd management to ensure a smooth celebration.
