Trust Bank launches Smart Point and introduces STM

The Chairman of Trust Bank PLC and Chief of Army Staff, General Waker-Uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc recently inaugurates the country's first Smart Teller Machine (STM) located at SKS Tower, Mohakhali introduced by Trust Bank PLC. The launching ceremony was also attended by the Managing Director & CEO of the bank, Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, members of the Board of Directors, senior officials of Bangladesh Army, along with senior executives of head office.

Trust Bank PLC has recently launched its Smart Point along with the country’s first Smart Teller Machine (STM), marking another milestone in the bank’s continuous efforts to enhance digital banking services and customer convenience.

The Smart Point was inaugurated by the Chairman of Trust Bank PLC and Chief of Army Staff, General Waker-Uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc as the Chief Guest of the program.

The launching ceremony was also attended by the Managing Director & CEO of the bank, Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, members of the Board of Directors, senior officials of Bangladesh Army, along with senior executives of head office.

The Smart Point, established at SKS Tower, Mohakhali, features Smart Teller Machine (STM) and Cash Recycling Machine (CRM) that enable customers to access a wide range of banking services quickly and conveniently.

Through these machines, customers can instantly open accounts, receive debit cards, withdraw and deposit cash, request loans, generate account statements, and perform various other banking services. The Smart Point functions as Digital Branch, allowing customers to complete essential banking activities without the need to visit a physical branch.

The introduction of the Smart Teller Machine (STM) for the first time in Bangladesh allows customers to open accounts and receive debit cards instantly, significantly enhancing convenience and efficiency in banking services.

The introduction of Smart Point and STM reinforces Trust Bank’s strategic focus on innovation, digital transformation, and customer-centric banking services. The bank plans to gradually expand Smart Points across different locations in the country.
