Peshawar Zalmi pick up Shoriful for PSL
Peshawar Zalmi picked up Shoriful Islam of Bangladesh for upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi recruited Bangladeshi pacer Nahid Rana. If everything goes well the left-arm pacer will play with Nahid Rana for Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL.
Shoriful Islam is the fifth Bangladeshi, who is recruited by a team for PSL. ‘Cutter Boy’ Mustafizur Rahman was recruited directly by Lahore Qalandars.
After that spinner Rishad Hossain was picked up Rawalpindi and opener Parvez Hossain Emon was picked up by Lahore Qalanders
Peshawar Zalmi gave a post on their Facebook.
They wrote, “The Yellow Storm just got stronger with your arrival! Express left-arm pacer Shoriful_47 is ready to unleash the thePSLT20 in yellow jersey. Speed, strike and storming energy.”
The PSL will start on March 26 and will come to an end on May 3.
Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will take on Hyderabad Houston in the inaugural match of PSL on March 26. Mustafizur Rahman and Parvez Hossain Emon will play for Lahore Qalanders.
On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi will face off Rawalpindi. Nahid Rana and Shoriful Islam will play for Peshawar Zalmi, while Rishad Hossain will play for Rawalpindi.
A total of eight teams will take part in this years PSL. The matches of PSL will be held at the six venues. They are: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi.
