Farmers field day on spreading high yielding potato

A day-long farmer’s field day on spreading high yielding potato cultivation was held at Debiganj Seed projonon center in Debiganj upazila of Panchagarh district on 12 March Thursday.

Kandal crop research project and Projonon seed center have jointly been arranged the programme. Gajipur Bangladesh agriculture research institute former director Dr. Mohiuddin addressed the function as the chief guest.

Debiganj Projonon seed production center chief scientific officer DR. Kurshed Alam was as special guest. The chief guest said, the farmers will be benefit through cultivation high yielding variety of Potato.

He also introduced farmers to 81 variety of Potato. A large numbers of farmers were present in the programme.
