New Zealand delegation in city

The Pakistan Cricket team are touring Bangladesh. They have come to play three ODIs.

The guests were defeated by the hosts in the first ODI in Mirpur on Wednesday. Bangladesh won the match by 8 wickets.

After two more ODIs against Pakistan, Bangladesh will host the New Zealand Cricket team in April and May. The two teams will play three ODIs and three T20Is.

Ahead of the New Zealand Cricket team’s tour, their delegation arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday.

The three-member delegation arrived in Dhaka as part of regular activities. They will observe the security arrangements of the New Zealand Cricket team.

The delegation will look at the match and practice venues, hotels, and above all, security arrangements.

Based on their report, the final decision on the cricket tour of New Zealand will be taken.

However, in the initial discussions of the two boards, it has been decided that the New Zealand Cricket team will set foot in Bangladesh on April 13.

The cricket battle between the two teams will start with the ODI series.

After that, there will be a T20I series. The ODI series will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur on April 17, 20 and 23.

The T20I series will be held at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram on April 27, 29 and May 2.

New Zealand will come to Bangladesh after 2023. Previously, the two teams played two Tests along with three ODIs. This time there will be no Test match. The two teams will play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.
