Bulu unopposed elected President of Mohammedan

Barkat Ullah Bulu, MP, has been unopposed elected President of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited as the two other candidates Zainul Abdin Farrooque, MP, and Sajed A.A. Adel withdrew their nominations. Yesterday was the last date to withdraw the candidature for the post of president and directors.

The election of the Governing Body of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited will be held at Dhaka Club on March 9. The cast of voting will start at 2:00pm and will come to an end at 5:00pm.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at the same venue on the same day.

On Thursday, Mostafa Kamal, Zainul Abdin Farrooque and Mahmud Hasan Khan also withdrew their candidature for the post of Directors.

A total of 22 sports personalities contesting the post of the Directors of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited. The post of Directors are 16.
