NSU celebrates Pitha Utsob

North South University’s Social Services Club hosted the lively “Pitha Utsob 1432” recently at the campus playground, reviving Bengali traditions for the young generation.

The event featured colourful stalls brimming with homemade pithas, drawing enthusiastic crowds of students, faculty, and staff to savor authentic flavors amid festive decorations. Chief guest Aziz Al Kaiser, Chairman of NSU’s Board of Trustees, praised the club’s efforts to preserve cultural heritage.

Club President Khalid Bin Morshed Ramim hailed the success, while faculty advisor Meshbaul Hassan Chowdhury commended their blend of social work and tradition. The gathering fostered unity and pride, gracefully welcoming spring with Bengal’s sweet spirit.
