After waking up, heroine Nijhum Rubina heards news of her arrest warrant

Entertainment Report :

Film actress Rubina Akter Nijhum, screen name Nijhum Rubina, lives in Qatar with her family. She has started a new business there, enrolled her child in school. Everything was going on normally.

But when she woke up on Thursday morning and went on social media, she was shocked to find out that an arrest warrant had been issued in her name!

It was learned that a woman named Surovi Begum filed a case against actress Nijhum Rubina and her husband Mamunur Rashid Rahul on January 29 on charges of fraud and breach of trust.

In addition to Nijhum Rubina and her husband Mamunur Rashid Rahul, two others have been named as accused in that case.

The court issued a summons ordering them to appear by February 19. After the hearing, the court issued an arrest warrant against them as they did not appear on the scheduled date.

The matter was confirmed to the media by the plaintiff’s lawyer Syed Nazrul Islam. On Friday afternoon, Nijhum Rubina completely denied the allegations.

She claimed that she didn’t know the plaintiff personally and didn’t know anything about the matter before the case was filed.

The actress said, “I came to know about the case by logging into Facebook. I’m being defamed by filing a case where I’m not involved in any way.”

According to the complaint, a loan of Tk1.25 lakh was taken on October 1, 2020, which was a written agreement with the condition of repayment within two months.

The plaintiff claims that the case was filed because the money was not returned even after the stipulated time.

However, Nijhum Rubina’s claim is different. According to her, the transaction was through her husband and the money was taken at interest for business purposes.

Installments of Tk40 thousand were being paid every month. She came to know about the matter in October last year.

Then, when the woman concerned came to their house and created tension, she advised them to file a complaint with the police station.

The heroine further said that after filing a complaint at Rampura police station, a settlement was reached through police mediation.

Accordingly, Tk2 lakh was paid in cash and the remaining Tk9 lakh was to be paid in two installments (in December last year and March this year).

She claimed that although a check of four and a half lakh taka was ready in December, the plaintiff did not accept it.

“Suddenly, the entire Tk9 lakh was demanded at once, which is unreasonable,” Nijhum said.

Nijhum Rubina, citing that she has been defamed in this incident, said that she is preparing to file a defamation case.

She has already spoken to her lawyer and said that the initiative to file a case will be taken next Sunday.
