What Apu writes with picture of Rumeen Farhana

Independent candidate Rumeen Farhana has surprised the public in the Brahmanbaria-2 constituency in 13th National Parliament election.

She won unofficially by defeating BNP-backed candidate by a margin of more than 38,000 votes.

Rumeen, who contested the election with ‘duck’ symbol, received 118,547 votes. Her closest rival Junaid Al Habib received 80,434 votes with ‘date palm tree’ symbol.

Popular Dhallywood actress Apu Biswas congratulated Rumeen on her victory on social media and shared a picture with her on own Facebook story, wrote in a short caption, “Congratulations.”
