Shooter Koli banned for one year

Shooter Kamrun Nahar Koli has continued her practice after getting the stipend of International Olympic Committee.
She alleged that she was sexually harassed by the official of Bangladesh Shooting Federation GM Haider Sazzad.
After that Bangladesh Shooting Federation issued a show cause notice and suspended her.
This time the Bangladesh Shooting Federation has banned her for one year. The Bangladesh Olympic Association has now upset for this decision.
The National Sports Council (NSC) was not acknowledged the matter. If the matter will known to NSC, then NSC will take action.
Earlier, former adviser of Ministry of Youth and Sports Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan announced the Adhoc Committee of Bangladesh Shooting Federation.
GM Haider Sazzad is the Joint-Secretary of the Adhoc Committee of Bangladesh Shooting Federation.
Then, the shooters including Kamrun Nahar Koli showed their dissatisfaction and protested for that decision.
Bangladesh Shooting Federation temporary suspended Koli for one month and also issued a show cause notice.
Koli stated her stance but it was not acceptable to Bangladesh Shooting Federation.
Bangladesh Shooting Federation banned Koli for one year for breaching code of conduct. Bangladesh Olympic Federation became dissatisfied for the decision of Bangladesh Shooting Federation.
Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association Jubaidur Rahman Rana said to a local website, ” We discussed about the matter of Kamrun Nahar Koli.
We have decided to meet with the officials of Bangladesh Shooting Federation on February 17. But Bangladesh Shooting Federation took the decision before that meeting.
As Koli is a holder of stipend of International Olympic Committee, the officials of Bangladesh Shooting Federation had to discuss with Bangladesh Olympic Association.
We should try to meet Bangladesh Shooting Federation to come a positive decision.
The Commonwealth Games and Asian Games are knocking at the door. Before that the decision is full of unhappiness.”
Director (Sports) of National Sports Council Mohammad Aminul Ehasan said, ” We don’t know the decision properly.
If it is known us that before the meeting why Bangladesh Shooting Federation has taken this decision, we should take action.”
