Election Closure: Outsiders restricted at BRUR

To ensure overall security and maintain peace and order during the closure of the university for the 13th National Parliamentary Election and referendum, the entry of outsiders has been prohibited at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR).

The information was disclosed in an official notice signed by the university’s Proctor, Dr Md Ferdous Rahman, on Monday.

According to the notice, the university campus will remain closed from 10 February to 14 February in observance of the 13th National Parliamentary Election and referendum.

During this period, entry of outsiders into the campus will be strictly prohibited in the interest of maintaining security and public order.

Students of BRUR have also been requested to carry their identity cards while entering the campus during this time.
