BCB announces squad for 3-match ODI series against India
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Saturday announced a 14-member Tigers’ final squad for the three-match Zan’n Zee Ice Cream ODI Series against India, including left handed pacer Mustafizur Rahman.
Mustafizur Rahman, who played the lone T20 match against Pakistan recently, was included in the ODI squad while pacer Abul Hasan Raju dropped from the team.
Liton Kumar Das, now playing for Bangladesh on the ongoing Test match against India, also got a call in the ODI squad alongside Rony Talukder while reliable batsman Mahmudullah Riyad was dropped from the ODI team due to injury.
The day-night basis three-match ODI series will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on June 18, 21 and 24.
BCB ODI squad: Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (Captain), Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan (Vice-Captain), Shabbir Rahman, Nasir Hossain, Arafat Sunny, Taskin Ahmed, Rubel Hossain, Rony Talukdar, Mustafizur Rahman and Liton Kumar Das.
