Over 200 BNP leaders, activists join Jamaat

More than 200 BNP leaders and activists from Indurkani Upazila of Pirojpur have joined Jamaat-e-Islami.

They officially joined Jamaat in a courtyard meeting organized in the Milbari area of Indurkani Sadar Union on Thursday night. Notable among the BNP leaders were Abdul Quddus Mridha, President of Ward No. 4 of Indurkani Sadar Union, and Abdul Jalil, former Organizing Secretary of Ward No. 9 Jubo Dal.

Anwar Hossain Mridha presided over the courtyard meeting held under the chairmanship of Khairuzzaman Atiq.
Masud Sayedee, Jamaat-e-Islami’s nominated candidate for Pirojpur-1 constituency and former chairman of Zianagar Upazila, was present as the chief guest at the event.
