ACC raids Khulna District Council

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has conducted a raid on Khulna District Council. A team of the ACC conducted the raid on Monday afternoon.

During the raid, ACC officials stayed in the room of Khulna District Council Acting Chief Executive Officer Taslima Akhter for more than an hour. During this time, they reviewed various important files and official documents.

According to district council sources, since the joining of Acting Chief Executive Officer Taslima Akhter, ACC officials have verified all files related to various development projects, financial transactions, administrative decisions and other activities under the district council.

The source further said that the ACC officials collected copies of some necessary documents and took information on various issues from the concerned officials.

Although no official statement was immediately available from the ACC in this regard, the relevant sources say that the raid and document verification activities were conducted based on allegations of irregularities and corruption.

Although the raid caused a temporary halt in administrative activities in the District Council, normal operations resumed later.
