Mustafiz in Wisden’s T20I Team of the Year

Wisden has created a team of the best cricketers in international T20s in 2025. Bangladesh’s left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman has made it to that best eleven.

The Wisden editorial board selected the team based on its T20 performance in 2025.
last year, Mustafiz took 59 wickets in 43 innings, conceding 6.78 runs per over with a strike rate of 15.9. His best bowling figures were three wickets for 11 runs. He bowled a total of 156.5 overs in this format last year.

Caribbean pace all-rounder Jason Holder bowled 250.2 overs and took a maximum of 97 wickets, with a strike rate of 15.4 but an average of 21.42.

India’s Abhishek Sharma and England’s Phil Salt are the openers in the XI. South Africa’s Dewald Brevis is at number three. Sam Curran, Donovan Ferreira, Tim David, Sunil Narine and Jason Holder have been named as all-rounders.

Mustafiz is joined in the bowling attack by New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy and India’s Varun Chakraborty.
