BPL play-off phase to start today

The play-off phase of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket will start today. Rajshahi Warriors led the points table gaining 16 points from 10 matches. Chattogram Royals took the second position bagging 12 points from 10 matches with a net run rate of 0.497.
Rangpur Riders took the third spot collecting 12 points from 10 matches with a net run rate of 0.220. Sylhet Titans took the fourth position earning 10 points from 10 matches. These four teams will take part in the play-off phase.
Dhaka Capitals and Noakhali Express were ousted from the BPL 12th edition with six and four points respectively from their respective 10 matches.
Rangpur Riders will face off Sylhet Titans in the Eliminator phase, which will begin at 1:00pm at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur today. Captain of Rangpur Riders Litton Das will lead his side while Captain of Sylhet Titans Mahedi Hasan Miraz will lead his team.
Rajshahi Warriors will take on Chattogram Royals in the 1st Qualifier, which will start today at 6:00pm at the same venue. Captain of Rajshahi Warriors Najmul Hossain Shanto will lead his side, while Captain of Chattogram Royals Mahedi Hasan will lead his team.
The losing team of the Eliminator phase will out of the tournament. On the other hand, the winning team of the first Qualifier will get tickets of the final.
The winning team of the Eliminator phase will meet the losing team of the first Qualifier each other in the second Qualifier, which will kick-off tomorrow at 6:00pm at the same venue. The winning team of the second Qualifier will play in the final.
The final will be held at the same venue on February 23. The match will begin at 6:00pm. Private satellite sports channel T Sports will telecast all the matches live.

Adam Rossington of Chattogram Royals the fifth highest run getter, who scored 258 runs playing six matches. His highest individual score is 73*. His strike rate 139.45. He has been ruled out from the BPL Cricket due to injury.
