Emilia Clarke breaks rib while shooting intimate scene

Hollywood actress Emilia Clarke’s new series ‘Ponies’ has become quite popular. Clarke has shared some sensational information about her acting experience on the streaming platform Peacock.

The four-time Emmy-nominated actress said she broke one of her ribs while performing an intimate scene during filming.

In an interview with The Wrap, Emilia said that the most physically demanding part of playing Bea in the series was the intimate scenes.

In the series, set during the Cold War, Bea is a woman who seduces several high-ranking KGB officers in order to obtain information.

That’s why she had to act in more intimate scenes with her co-stars.
In Emilia’s words, “I was shooting a long intimate scene. That day, I broke one of my ribs.”

Co-star Haley Lu Richardson, who plays another CIA agent, Twyla, in the series, confirmed the news, saying, “She really did break her ribs. Emilia is a sensitive person-that’s why it happened.”

Emilia said that the doctor had to tell her that the injury occurred while shooting an intimate scene.

However, Emilia later revealed that her rib was not completely broken, but had shifted slightly.

The ‘Ponies’ series follows Bea and Twyla as secretaries at the US embassy in Moscow in 1977.

After the mysterious deaths of their husbands, both go undercover as CIA agents on a secret mission.
