Noakhali create history by keeping father and son in the XI

Sports Reporter :

Mohammad Nabi and his son Hassan Eisakhil have never played wearing the same team jersey despite playing against each other in Afghanistan’s domestic cricket.

The father and son took the field for Noakhali Express in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket.

This is the first time in the history of franchise cricket that they have played for the same team. And Noakhali Express have also written their name in the history book by keeping Mohammad Nabi and his son in the XI.

Noakhali have brought Mohammad Nabi and Hassan Eisakhil to the team not from the auction of this season’s BPL, but through direct signing. Since then, cricket fans have been waiting to see the father-son play.

But even though Noakhali took the field in one match after another, that scene was not seen.

Then, in their eighth match, the new franchise of BPL has lined up a playing XI with Mohammad Nabi and Hassan Eisakhil.

Noakhali Express faced Dhaka Capitals in the second match on Sunday in BPL. Noakhali Captain Haider Ali won the toss and decided to bat first.

Hassan Eisakhil came out to bat with Soumya Sarkar for the team. Noakhali scored 105 runs for the loss of one wicket against Sylhet Capitals before filing this report. Eisakhil remained unbeaten with 49 runs, till filing this report.
